Indulge your palate with the delicious flavours and succulent tenderness of mature Aberdeen Angus Beef, Old Spot Pork and Bacon, Clover Fed Lamb and Wild Roe Venison, reared extensively on our farm at Seamer, just outside Scarborough on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast.
The field to fork concept is great. Putting it into practice is challenging. Selling the home grown product is satisfying. Its got to be otherwise even I would be trudging to the supermarket for my meat. Instead I indulge my passion for the Aberdeen Angus beef, both on the hoof and on the plate to produce succulent steaks and joints that I am convinced are reminiscent of how good old fashioned Sunday roasts should taste today. Our Old Spot Pork too, smacks of the return to a flavour tradition. A little more fat perhaps, but so light it cooks away leaving succulent chops that only need a little apple sauce to take you back to your childhood. All year round Spring Lamb? We can do it here, as our Berrichon breed will lamb all year round, so that tender lamb and mutton is available even in the autumn.
Our 300ac family farm nestles close to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is home to the Weydale herd of prize winning Aberdeen Angus cattle, and Weydale flock of Berrichon sheep. Breeding stock is usually available and visitors are always welcome
.
Our on farm butchery is situated on the edge of Seamer village, near Scarborough in converted farm buildings, where our expert butcher can prepare orders to your specification.
