Aberdeen Angus Beef

Aberdeen Angus beef is world renowned for its flavour, and at Seamer Fayre we do everything to maintain that reputation.  Our aim is to recreate the taste of traditional roast beef.  All the Aberdeen Angus beef we stock is from our own Weydale and Bridge farms.

Aberdeen Angus  When our meat returns from the abbatoir, it is hung in our on farm bespoke cold store for a minimum of three weeks.  This allows the muscle fibres to stretch and tenderise, as well as allowing a certain amount of moisture loss which concentrates the marvellous flavour.  The marbling, or streaks of fat, in between the muscle fibres of the meat is an inherent asset of the Aberdeen Angus as it allows the meat to stay moist whilst cooking.

Throughout the journey of your beef from field to fork, which may take up to three years, the various processes are independently audited to provide full traceability.

joint of aberdeen angus beef We are proud to be able to mark our produce with the Quality Standard Mark for beef   This guarantees the provenance of the meat from start to finish -  indeed it is the only quality mark to do so.

Our farms are audited annually, as well as the abbatoir to guarantee that the beef you buy has been reared and prepared to the highest standards.
