We would love to be able to grow or produce absolutely everything in our shop ourselves, but for those of you have tried 'the good life', you will appreciate just how hard this is.
So the compromise for us is to produce the beef, pork and lamb ourselves - the 'bread and butter' of our business to the highest standard, and let other professional farming neighbours produce their particular forte themselves.
To this end we are proud to stock proper Free Range poultry from Loose Birds of Harome.
Loose Birds of Harome supply us with traditional free range chicken, duck, goose and bronze turkeys.
All birds are fed on a diet specified by us, have access 24/7 to grass paddocks and are kept in groups of less than 500.
