Our apples are sourced from our own orchard and also form part of a community press. It all started with planting our own orchard to replace the many fruit trees disappearing all over the country. It then occurred to us that there are still hundreds or apples going to waste in peoples back gardens! We opened our doors to the community to bring us their excess apples to be hand pressed on the farm. In return, contributors are entitled to come claim bottles of the finished product.
After our apples are pressed the leftover dry apple pulp goes to our Aberdeen Angus herd right here on the farm. They can smell when it's apple season and they all come to the gate for their sweet treat.
